The qualities I look for in a leader are respect to others, kindness, and control towards attitude. What I think makes good leadership is that when you are counted on to lead and direct, you should try your best to lead. One should always be eager to help others and work in a team.

I think that if you want to be a good leader you can't be a hypocrite. In other words, you can't say that you are going to do one thing and then do a completely different thing. I think that good leadership is when someone is able to make changes in when the person who is leading is able to make changes for the better where they are leading. I think that the qualities that make a good leader would be for one, a military leader. For example, in times of struggle, a good leader would know what strategies to deploy, weather to attack of hold back, etc. A second trait that makes a good leader would be honesty, and loyalty to their community. Without this trait, no one would want a person who lies about the past or does not show much of a passion to run his/her community. To name another quality, the leader should have had previous experience, and lots of it. Would you really want someone who is inexperienced to run a community? Finally, I believe that personality is another major role in running a community. A leader must be a couple of things. The two most important things are fairness and strong through tough times. A leader must be fair because without fairness there would be no control. I beleive that one aspect of good leadership is that a leader fihts with his men. Through out history we see many great leaders fight with their men in wars. Leonidas fought with his Spartans and Octavion Ceaser fought with his Romans. John McCain is a war hero, so that helps his repetouire. I am not saying that it is neccesary to have a leader fight with his men but it helps a great deal. Another aspect is to keep as many people happy as you lead them. Marrie Antoinette was beheaded in the French Revolution because she and her husband, the king, were living a good life, completely oblivious to the starving people they ruled over. It helps to have leaders who pay attention to the people's needs.

I think an important quality of a good leader is someone who can be trusted. If they are not trusted, people will not believe what they say. I also think that a good leader should be confident. They also must be honest. A good leader should be able to give good advice. When the people they are leading are in need of help, their leader should have the ability to tell them the best thing to do in their particular situation. Responsibility is also a necessary quality. The leader will not be organized and people will become upset and will feel disrespected. In my opinion, these are the most important parts of a good leader's personality.

Something that i look for in a leader would be someone that makes a good leader would be someone that is in controll but not to pushy and demanding. I think leadership is very important. There are many qualities that you need to be a good leader. For example, in times of struggle, a good leader would know what strategies to deploy, weather to attack of hold back, etc. A second trait that makes a good leader would be honesty, and loyalty to their community. They would be able to lead the people with knowledge, other than a leader with no experience, who wouldn't know what to do in certain case scenarios, and let the people suffer for lack of knowledge, and the mistakes that he made for his lack of knowledge.
A good leader is a person who listens,understands,and respects the people. He is NOT selfish or rude. To be able to discuss the issues,he must not be quite or shy, but to be speak loud,clearly and fluent enough for everyone to hear and understand. Some of the big qualities the people look for in a leader is one who can take care of the problems/issues,instead of just talking about them over,and over,and over again. Like,say,the war in Iraq for example. "When will it end? Will our troops come home?" Those are just some of the many questions some americans wonder. I agree with Spencer and Ellery, about having all around good character, but dude you dont have to be in the military to be a good leader. I think another importint part of being a good leader is that your honest, because if a leader isn't honest then it will be hard for the people your leading to be able to tell when your telling the truth. Leaders stand up for what's right and help others in need. John McCain displays leadership in different ways than Barack Obama. McCain picks out individuals such as the military and any soldiers that would be willing to vote for him. He explains his captivity in Vietnam many times to show that he knows what other soldiers go through. With this in mind of the veiwers,most of them have had family members, friends, cousins, neighbors, go in the war and fight for our country in another continent.

To be a good leader you should never criticize your opponent. That is what causes division in campaigns. Democrats and republicans would get along/work better together if they didn’t bad mouth each other. Instead of saying “-----doesn’t know what he is talking about and is too young and in experienced, so you should not vote for me” campaign leaders should say things more like “I would change what is going on in the world and instead of focusing on ------- like -------, I will focus on more important issues like-------.’’ People will listen to each other if they are not criticized. The fact that Obama generally doesn’t criticize McCain as much as he gets criticized already makes me want to vote for what he is standing for. What i think makes a good leader is not to be afraid to speek out. A leader as character in them. When there is a problem the leader is always there to help fix the situation. A good leader runs thing smoothly. A leader must be brave and fair. A good leader is not someone who is hiding in the back round of the group. A leader stands out in the group. To be able to stand out in the group takes a lot of confidence.

A good leader should have many good qualities and few if any bad ones. A good leader puts his people before himself, his people should like him or her, one that is fair to his people, he should be someone who is not afraid to take charge, and always knows what is best for his people. A good leader is the type of Pearson who is not afraid to do what is right for is people.
i think what makes could leadership is not being afraid to speak out an willing to make sacrifices for the sake of the people and there future. a good leader is does not have to be a good speaker he just has to have good politics, good morals, and a true devotion to make things different, not just to please the public to get to become the leader

I beleive that one aspect of good leadership is that a leader fihts with his men. Through out history we see many great leaders fight with their men in wars. Leonidas fought with his Spartans and Octavion Ceaser fought with his Romans. John McCain is a war hero, so that helps his repetouire. I am not saying that it is neccesary to have a leader fight with his men but it helps a great deal.
Another aspect is to keep as many people happy as you lead them. Marrie Antoinette was beheaded in the French Revolution because she and her husband, the king, were living a good life, completely oblivious to the starving people they ruled over. Something that i look for in a leader would be someone that makes a good leader would be someone that is in controll but not to pushy and demanding. Someone that knows what they want and what there looking for in there situation. A good leader would be someone that all the people would love they would be kind and they'de listen to the people.

What makes a good leader i think is how they handle a situation under stress, so they dont just shutdown or make rash actions. Also a leader shouldn't make fun of other canidates, i wish they did that today. They should also accept the other canidates opinion. The things i look for in a leader is if there policies are reasonable. Also if they help out economy. Examples lower our gas prices, not depending on the foreigh countries oil. Because they just keep raising the prices because we rely on them. And you can tell what type of leader a person is by his/her personality.

i think that we need a confedent leader. they should be experenced with political issues. they should have at least a few years of experence. a leader need to be determened and honest with what they say. they should show good judgement.
